Russian Poker Awards 2009: Who Will Take Home the Top Honors?
The Russian Poker Awards 2009 ceremony will take place on September 24, 2009, at the Moscow club 'Most'. The awards will be given in eight categories, with the most prestigious being 'Player of the Year'.
Ivan Demidov is nominated for 'Player of the Year', 'Best Player in International Tournaments', 'Breakthrough of the Year', and 'PokerStars Choice'. Lika Gerasimova is a finalist for 'Player of the Year', 'Best Player in International Tournaments', and 'Lady Poker'. Sergey Rybachenko is one of the candidates for 'Internet Player of the Year'.
The winners have already been determined by an online vote, and the official results will be announced later in the evening.
