Russian Online Poker League Kicks Off on March 10th
The Russian Online Poker League (ROPL) will start on March 10, 2010. The first tournament on the forum GipsyTeam was created by Uvelir. Ruslan Bangert, also known as Bangert on the GipsyTeam forum, organized the tournaments into a well-structured series on PokerStars. The ROPL will include 13 tournaments, ranging from No-Limit Hold'em 6-max to H.O.R.S.E. The ROPL will be held on PokerStars and Unibet. The winner of the ROPL will receive a package to the main tournament of the Red Sea Poker Cup series, which will be held from May 22 to 30 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
