Rok Gostisa Wins PokerGo Championship, Ali Imsirovic Named Player of the Year
Rok Gostisa won the PokerGo Championship, taking home $689,100. The tournament, which concluded the year-long PokerGo Tour, had 46 entries, each paying $50,000. Gostisa's victory was particularly remarkable as he started from the last position in chips.
Gostisa's journey to the top was marked by several key moments. He eliminated Ren Lin with a hand where Gostisa held 6♠ 6♣ and Lin had J♠ 10♥. The flop was 2♦ 3♦ 9♦, the turn 9♥, and the river 3♠. Another crucial hand saw Jacob Ferro eliminated by Gostisa, securing the remaining players $¼million each. In the final heads-up, Gostisa bluff-shoved pre-flop against Michael Gathy, who called with Q♣ J♣. The flop was 7♥ A♣ A♦, the turn A♥, and the river 6♦, sealing Gostisa's victory.
Ali Imsirovic was named the PokerGo Tour Player of the Year, winning $200,000. Imsirovic had an impressive year with 14 wins, 34 cashes, and $6,028,321 in winnings. His performance was highlighted by his dominance in the points standings, with 4364 points, well ahead of Michael Addamo's 3083 points.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
