Brazilian Poker Player Roberly Felicio Wins WSOP 2018 Colossus Event

Roberly Felicio, a recreational player from Anápolis, GO, won the Event #7: COLOSSUS – $565 No-Limit Hold’em at the WSOP 2018 in Las Vegas. This victory makes him the fourth Brazilian to win a WSOP bracelet, joining the ranks of Alexandre Gomes, André Akkari, and Thiago Decano.

Felicio's win was a historic moment for Brazilian poker. He competed against 13,070 players over four days and defeated Siang Liu in the final, securing a prize of 1 Million Dollars.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
