RedKings Poker Shuts Down After 13 Years: What Happens Next?
After 13 years of operation, RedKings Poker is shutting down on April 28, 2019. The poker room, which was launched in 2006, became one of the key rooms in the Ongame network and later joined the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) in 2016.
RedKings Poker offered weekly freerolls with prizes of $100, and sometimes featured bounty hunts with representatives from GipsyTeam. Masha_RedKings, a representative of RedKings Poker, was active on the GipsyTeam forum from 2012, answering player questions without receiving any negative feedback.
The closure of RedKings Poker is attributed to low profitability and the overall negative trend in the industry, including increased regulation and difficulty in attracting new players. Players will still be able to use their accounts for casino games or withdraw their funds under standard conditions.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
