Qiwi Bank Restricts Poker Room Transactions in Russia
Qiwi Bank has suspended the ability to top up poker rooms on the territory of the Russian Federation. The Central Bank of Russia fined Qiwi Bank 11 million rubles for violations. The bank is cooperating with the Central Bank to address the violations.

The bill was initiated by deputies Igor Stankevich and Viktor Deriabkin of the United Russia party. The Ministry of Finance is expected to be the founder of the state company 'Single Regulator of Gambling' on behalf of the Russian Federation.
