PokerStars Celebrates Spin & Go Anniversary with Massive Prizes
PokerStars celebrated the first anniversary of their Spin & Go tournaments on October 19, 2015, offering players the chance to win $1,000,000 in tournaments with buy-ins as low as $0.50, $5, and $100.
The first winner of the Spin & Go tournament was Samara Lúcio from Brazil, who won $1,000,000 in a $5 buy-in tournament. AA_MaKnO_AA from Lithuania and struchalina from Russia each won $100,000 for their second and third-place finishes. Another Brazilian player, wrawras, won $1,000,000 in a $100 buy-in tournament.
During the EPT Malta, players could participate in an offline version of Spin & Go with a €50 buy-in. The prize pool ranged from €100 to €1,000, determined by a wheel of fortune.
