PokerStars and Red Bull Racing Join Forces in Major Partnership

PokerStars and Red Bull Racing have signed a multi-year global partnership deal. The biggest online poker site will feature branding on next year’s RB18 Formula One car as well as on the race suits of team drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.

Max Verstappen won his maiden title in Abu Dhabi last December in controversial circumstances, dethroning seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. A late safety car period turned the race on its head only six laps from the end after Hamilton had led for the entire race.

PokerStars is to celebrate the 16th anniversary of its most iconic tournament, the Sunday Million, on March 20, 2022, with a $10 million guarantee. The buy-in will be the traditional $215 to enter with the usual cluster of satellite events running to claim a seat for mere cents. Last year’s 15th anniversary edition was won by the Canadian brand ambassador for Americas CardRoom Vanessa Kade. The popular Twitch streamer topped a 69,876 strong field to pick up $1.5 million.
