PokerStars Open Maryland 2025: Exciting New Stop Announced
PokerStars has announced the debut of PokerStars Open Maryland 2025, set to take place from October 19 to 26 at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland. This eight-day live poker festival will feature a $1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event with a $300,000 guarantee and five starting flights.
The event will include a variety of exciting tournaments, such as a new single-day mystery bounty tournament with a sports betting twist called the Sunday Sweat, a $300 Women’s Event, and a $2,200 High Roller. This marks the first time a PokerStars Live event has run under the “Open” brand in Maryland.
RJ Peterson, Senior Director of Marketing PokerStars North America, expressed excitement about bringing the PokerStars Open experience to Maryland, stating that this festival represents a natural step forward in their partnership with Live! Casino & Hotel. Christopher Angelo, Director of Poker at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, also expressed excitement about welcoming PokerStars back to the casino, highlighting the growing tournament portfolio and the opportunity for players to experience the PokerStars brand.
