PokerStars Dominates Full Tilt in Unique Hybrid Tournament
PokerStars and Full Tilt engaged in a unique hybrid tournament, combining online poker with offline elements. All matches took place in London, but were played on FullTilt servers. Players sat across from each other with laptops and played online heads-up sit-and-go (HU SNG) on three tables.
The first match featured Bertrand Grospellier and Viktor Blom. The second match was between Isaac Haxton and Tom Dwan. The third match was between Daniel Negreanu and Gus Hansen.
Each match had a prize of $50,000, with the winning team's members also receiving an additional 10,000 tournament dollars in the opponent's room. PokerStars secured a dominant 8-1 victory over Full Tilt.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
