Czech PokerStars Players Can Now Join Multi-Table Tournaments

The Czech Republic has one of the strictest systems regulating online poker, which previously prevented local players from participating in multi-table tournaments (MTT) on PokerStars.

PokerStars support service has started contacting players to inform them that they can register for events if at least 50% of the guaranteed prize pool is covered. According to Czech gambling regulations, players can only register for MTTs when 50% of the guaranteed prize pool is already filled.

For example, if a player wants to join the Sunday Million tournament with a $1 million guarantee, they must wait until at least $500,000 is collected from other registered players' tournament fees.
