PokerStars Caribbean Adventure: Russian Players' Day 3 Highlights

The third day of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure tournament began with 207 players, including 9 Russian-speaking participants. Among them were Ramim Khadzhiev, Andrey Kotelnikov, Pavel Veksler, Nikita Lebedev, Andrey Kurov, Nikita Bodiakovsky, Anton Sulimka, Alexander Lischuk, and Artyom Borisov.

Artyom Borisov was eliminated early in the day with fewer than 10 big blinds, folding against a pair of tens with a pair of fours. Anton Sulimka entered the prize zone with one blind remaining and was eliminated in 168th place, earning $25,450. Alexander Lischuk followed shortly after, finishing in 167th place with $25,450. Nikita Lebedev secured 119th place, earning $39,500.

Ramin Khadzhiev felt comfortable during the bubble and was among the chip leaders at one point. He recalled a longer bubble experience in a $25k tournament on Malta, where the bubble lasted over three hours with 18 players remaining. In a recent $50k tournament at the World Series in Vegas, Khadzhiev finished in 16th place after Scott Seiver's elimination. Khadzhiev started playing from the second day due to important business in Miami, missing the first day's start. He had a notable hand against Katie Lindsey, wife of Chris Muthman, where he defended his A2 on the big blind and caught trips. Another significant hand involved Elior Fox on a J-high flop with a flush draw, where Khadzhiev held Ax Jx against Fox's Kh 4h.
