PokerStars Introduces All-in Cash Out Feature for Cash Games
PokerStars is testing a new feature called All-in Cash Out, which allows players to cash out part of the pot during an all-in situation. This feature is designed to reduce the variance in cash games by allowing players to secure a portion of their equity in the hand, albeit at the cost of an additional 1% commission.
The All-in Cash Out feature is available on some tables when playing with play money. It is currently being tested for Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and Short Deck games. Players can use this feature to cash out part of the pot based on their hand's equity, regardless of the outcome of the hand. However, all participants in the hand must agree to the cash out for it to be executed.
If all players in the hand agree to the cash out, the pot will be divided according to the agreed-upon equity after deducting the 1% commission. If only the winning player agrees to the cash out, the pot will be taken by the poker room, and the winning player will receive their equity minus the commission. If only the losing player agrees to the cash out, the winning player will receive the full pot, and the losing player will receive their equity minus the commission. The All-in Cash Out feature will not work simultaneously with Run It Twice.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
