PokerOK Introduces ELO Rating, RedStar Adds 2FA: Latest Poker Room Updates
PokerOK has introduced a new ELO rating system for its Spin&Gold games, effective from the New Year. This system, similar to those used in chess and checkers, awards points based on wins and losses, with no consideration for bet limits or multipliers. There are seven ranks: E, D, C, B, A, Master, and Grand Master, with the top 100 players achieving the Grand Master status.
The ELO rating system in Spin&Gold has 7 ranks, from E to Grand Master. Players can track their progress and compete with others through the Spin&Gold lobby, where rankings are updated daily at 3:00 AM Moscow time. The system does not affect opponent matching or offer monetary bonuses.
PokerOK's Super Millions Week tournament series runs from January 8 to 16 with a prize pool of $25,000,000. The series includes 52 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $525 to $25,500, featuring seven events with seven-figure guarantees. The main event, with a $10,000,000 prize pool, will be a multi-day tournament starting on January 8.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
