Poker Pros Share Their Festive Christmas Traditions
As the end of December approaches, professional poker players share their unique Christmas traditions. Phil Hellmuth's family has a 25-year tradition of holding a family poker championship on Christmas Eve. Mike Seksaton's favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the house with a Christmas tree and music. Maria Ho and her family usually travel to a new location for Christmas, this year they will be in Las Vegas. Jonathan Little celebrates Christmas with multiple birthday celebrations, his and his son's, and is expecting another child. Jeff Gross travels to Brazil every year to visit his wife's family, where someone dresses up as Santa Claus for the children.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
