PokerMatch Announces Major Changes to Cash Tables
PokerMatch has announced significant changes to its cash tables, aimed at enhancing the gaming experience. The most notable change is the removal of 10-max cash tables from the lobby, which have been replaced with 8-max and 6-max tables. This adjustment is part of a broader effort to streamline the poker environment and offer more dynamic table options.
The minimum buy-in for Hold'em has increased from 20 to 30 BB, and for Omaha from 10 to 30 BB on the affected tables. This change is designed to attract more serious players and create a more competitive atmosphere. Additionally, PokerMatch has added many PLO6 limits with the optional Run it Twice feature, providing players with more strategic options and excitement.
Table names have become more concise, making it easier for players to navigate and find their preferred games quickly. These updates are just the beginning, as PokerMatch plans further changes to other cash tables for Hold'em and Omaha in the near future. The company also intends to reduce the rake on cash tables, which will benefit players by lowering the overall cost of play.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
