Poker Masters: Steven Chidwick Emerges as Series Champion
The Poker Masters series in Las Vegas featured 10 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. The series included six tournaments with a $10,000 buy-in, three with a $25,000 buy-in, and one with a $50,000 buy-in.
Vladas Tamashauskas, known as Vladiator13, made a strong start by winning two out of the first three tournaments and making it to the final table in the third. The first tournament set a record with 114 entries, and Vladiator13 won despite being down 1 to 3 in the heads-up against Aram Zobyan. In the second tournament, he made it to the final table with the second-largest stack but was eventually eliminated. In the third tournament, he entered the final table with the smallest stack but managed to win.
Steven Chidwick won the $25,000 tournament with a dominant performance, eliminating all opponents except Chris Brewer. He entered the final table with 108 big blinds and used aggressive strategies to secure his victory. Orpen Kisaçikoglu won the final $10,000 tournament, dominating the heads-up against Chiño Rim. He maintained his lead throughout the tournament and secured his victory with a decisive performance in the final heads-up.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
