Philadelphia Eagles Eyeing Future QB Options for 2027
The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing for the 2026 NFL season, and they picked Jalen Hurts as their starting quarterback. Still, the popular NFL franchise is already thinking about long-term quarterback options as one NFL insider suggests.
Jason La Canfora, the award-winning NFL reporter, insider and analyst, said in a recent interview for Casino Guru News that the Eagles are already exploring long-term quarterback positions, outlining the team is closely evaluating the strong 2027 quarterback draft class.
Brendan Sorsby may have been picked by the Eagles in the supplemental draft. Cole Payton has starting potential and will remain with the Eagles. Andy Dalton may become expendable. Tanner McKee demonstrated exceptional preseason performance and is a reliable backup. Jalen Hurts would have to 'play really well' to ensure he is still with the Eagles in 2027.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
