Phil Ivey Triumphs at SHRB Europe Event #1: $25k Short Deck Hold'em
Phil Ivey has bagged the first event at the Super High Roller Bowl Europe, taking down the $25k buy-in Short Deck Hold’em event for $408,000. The event took place at the Merit Royal Hotel & Casino in Cyprus. 26 players accounted for 48 buy-ins to set up a $1.2 million prizepool.
Phil Ivey eliminated Chris Brewer in 5th place and Ihor Shkliaruk in 4th place. Phil Ivey eliminated Mikita Badziakouski in 3rd place. Stephen Chidwick finished in 2nd place, earning $264,000.
