Phil Ivey to Play $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop at Wynn Las Vegas
Phil Ivey will play in the $1,000,000 buy-in Big One for One Drop event at the WPT World Championship series in December. The event is scheduled to run from December 12 to 21, 2023 at the Wynn Las Vegas.
The Big One for One Drop is a charity poker tournament that was first held in 2012. It is organised by the One Drop Foundation, which was founded by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté to provide access to safe water in developing countries. The tournament traditionally has a buy-in of $1 million, with a portion of the proceeds going to the One Drop Foundation.
Phil Ivey has more than $40 million in live tournament earnings, $4.4 million of which are from WPT events. He has two World Poker Tour titles and ten World Series of Poker bracelets to his name.
