Phil Galfond Wins Another Galfond Challenge, Defeats Brandon Adams
Phil Galfond has once again emerged victorious in the Galfond Challenge, this time defeating Brandon Adams. Galfond won $270,000 and a $100,000 side bet. The match, which was moved online, ended after just 3,000 hands. Galfond has previously defeated VeniVidi1993, ActionFreak, and Chance Kornuth in the Galfond Challenge.
Galfond's streak in the Galfond Challenge remains unbroken. He has not faced Bill Perkins since the beginning of the year, but Perkins hinted at a possible continuation of their match. However, no specific dates were mentioned. Galfond and Perkins have played less than a thousand hands together.
Galfond's next potential challenger is Daniel Cates, but he is currently focused on his charitable foundation and has not shown urgency to face Galfond.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
