Phil Galfond's Mini Challenge: A Thrilling Comeback
Phil Galfond took a break from his Galfond Challenge in late February after losing over 900,000 euros. He announced the first #MiniGalfondChallenge on March 31, 2023. The conditions of the mini-challenge were 800 hands of PLO 200$/400$ against AmSoGood on PokerStars. Phil Galfond reported that he started with a win of 180,000 dollars but then AmSoGood won 220,000 dollars. Galfond won a couple of pots at the end to finish the mini-challenge with a win of 15,000 dollars.
Phil Galfond has 5,637 hands left to play out of the planned 25,000 in his main challenge against VeniVidi1993.
