Paul Phua Wins Triton 10th Anniversary Special For $3.2 Million
Paul Phua, co-founder of the Triton Poker Series with Richard Yong in 2016, won the 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju $150,000 no-limit hold’em 10th Anniversary Special tournament, securing his second trident trophy and a career-best score of $3,226,000.
Phua has more than $37.8 million in lifetime earnings, with over $25.2 million from 55 Triton cashes. He dedicated his win to his late friend Ivan Leow, a founding player of the Triton Poker Series. Phua also finished second in the $50,000 short deck earlier this festival for $594,000.
The tournament featured a prize pool of $12,150,000, with the top 13 finishers earning a share. Notable players who cashed but fell short of the final table included Isaac Haxton, Jason Koon, and Kayhan Mokri. Brandon Wilson held the chip lead when the final nine converged onto a single table, with Phua in fourth chip position.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
