Patrik Antonius Wins Record $1.978M Pot in High-Stakes Poker Showdown
Patrik Antonius has set a new record for the biggest US livestreamed cash game pot, winning a staggering $1,978,000 in a high-stakes poker hand against Eric Persson. This historic moment occurred during PokerGO’s nosebleed stakes show, ‘No Gamble, No Future!’, which was billed as ‘Cash of the Titans’.
The game featured some of the biggest names in poker, including Antonius, Persson, Rob Yong, Andrew Robl, MJ Gonzales, and Markus Gonsalves. Each player brought $1 million to the table, with a minimum $500k buy-in and a $500k top-up, ensuring that the stakes were incredibly high.
By day 3, the blinds were up to $1k/$2k/$2k, and each player had put $100k into a sidepot for the overall biggest winner. This setup led to some monumental pots, with Eric Persson ultimately losing $1 million and being eliminated from the game. Andrew Robl emerged as the runaway winner with a total of +$1,126,000.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
