Patrick Antonius' Financial Woes and Gus Hansen's New Blog: The Latest in Poker News
Patrick Antonius, a well-known poker player, recently shared his financial struggles with Full Tilt Poker. In an interview with PokerTube, Antonius stated that despite receiving payments over two years, he is at a loss due to frozen funds on his account. Noah Steven-Davidovich, a co-founder of Subject: Poker, claimed that Antonius has less than $100 left on his Full Tilt account and owes the company a small amount. Finnish poker site Pokerisivut reported that Antonius has significant financial interests in Full Tilt, and his potential losses are tied to the company's debts.
In other news, Bernard Tapie's group has hired the same lawyer who previously settled cases between the U.S. Department of Justice and Party Poker, and Neteller. This move is seen as a step towards resolving the ongoing issues with the U.S. Department of Justice.
Gus Hansen, another prominent poker player, has launched a new blog at gushansen.me as part of the Bloggers Delight project. In his blog, Hansen mentioned that he is taking a break from online poker and will be representing Europe in the Caesar's Cup. He also wrote a philosophical post discussing the U.S. government's actions against online poker sites, expressing his thoughts on the ban and its implications.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
