PartyPoker Removes Misleading Pop-Up That Appeared on Session Close
PartyPoker has decided to remove a pop-up that appeared when closing a session. The pop-up contained information about the amount bet and the amount won, but did not account for losses. The pop-up was implemented due to a communication policy from the Dirección General de Ordenación de Juego to protect vulnerable players.
The pop-up was removed due to incorrect calculations that always reported gains, even if money was lost during the session. PartyPoker has acknowledged the inconvenience caused to players and has taken steps to rectify the issue.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
