partypoker Forces Screen Name Changes to Curb Predatory Behavior
partypoker has directed its users to change their screen names to prevent predatory behavior. This is not the first time the platform has taken such measures, as players were previously asked to change their virtual identities almost two years ago and again last week. The move is part of partypoker's ongoing efforts to protect recreational players from being exploited by those who use various tools to gain an edge.
partypoker implemented a ban on tracking software, making attempts to use a HUD futile. This strategy aims to protect players without making the games totally anonymous. Vadim Soloveychik, partypoker Director, emphasized the importance of this measure in keeping the game fair and safe for all players. He also thanked players for proactively reporting new tracking and game aid tools to the Game Integrity Team.
The My Game section was updated to allow players to download their hands for further analysis, addressing concerns from those who were not in favor of the HUD ban. partypoker continues its fight against real-time assistance during play, instantly banning bot users and confiscating their balances. The platform's commitment to creating a level playing field is evident in these ongoing efforts.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
