Oakland Athletics' New Las Vegas Stadium on Track for 2028 Opening
The Oakland Athletics' new Las Vegas stadium, estimated to cost $2 billion, is on schedule to be completed by 2028. The project, which is being overseen by Contractors Mortenson-McCarthy, has seen significant progress, with many rooms taking shape, according to Project Director Tyler Van Eeckhaut.
Temporary Plaza and Funding Concerns
The A’s might need to build a temporary plaza due to Bally’s Corporation not yet securing the necessary funding. However, Sandy Dean, A’s vice chairman, remains optimistic about the team entering a fully completed stadium by 2028. Dean highlighted the vision of Bally’s Corporation in bringing the team to Las Vegas and expressed confidence in resolving any remaining issues together.
Positive Feedback and Current Location
The A’s have received positive feedback from Las Vegas-area residents regarding the new stadium. Currently, the team is playing their second season at a Triple-A stadium in West Sacramento, California, before moving to their new home field in Las Vegas over the next few years.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
