NFL Insider Predicts Big Quarterback Trades Before Regular Season

As the NFL regular season approaches, insider Jason La Canfora predicts significant quarterback trades. Five teams currently have four quarterbacks on their roster, an unprecedented situation according to La Canfora. La Canfora, an award-winning NFL reporter, analyst, and insider with over two decades of experience, believes that at least three of these five teams will make a quarterback trade before the regular season.

La Canfora's insights come from conversations with NFL executives, including general managers. He highlighted that the Pittsburgh Steelers are actively looking to trade quarterback Mason Rudolph. The Steelers are high on their young quarterbacks, Will Howard and Drew Allar, and see starting potential in both players. However, they acknowledge that the development of these young quarterbacks will take time.

If the Steelers can get a valuable return for Mason Rudolph, they are likely to make the trade. Additionally, if an injury occurs elsewhere and Rudolph fits into that team's system, the trade becomes even more likely. This dynamic shift, driven by the impending regular season, could lead to several notable quarterback trades in the coming days.
