North Carolina Man Wins $1 Million from $10 Lottery Ticket
A Richmond County player won a $1 million top prize from a $10 Cashword King ticket. The winner had a gut feeling that he had to get that ticket and purchased it from CAPL Retail on South Main Street in Laurinburg.
The winner enjoys playing crossword-style scratch-off tickets and likes to take his time while playing. He chose to take home a one-time lump sum of $600,000 after taxes, which amounted to $432,063.
The odds of winning $1 million in Cashword King are 1 in 1,208,752.5.
