Multiple Accounts in Casinos: How It Was Resolved
The player created multiple accounts at an online casino because he forgot his password and thought registering a new account was easier than recovering the old one.
When attempting to withdraw money, the casino blocked his account for violating the one-account-per-player rule, and a complaint was filed with Casino Guru's Complaint Center in December 2022 and resolved in March 2023; the disputed amount was around $25.
Casino Guru expert Branislav asked the player: «How can creating a new account be easier than clicking 'Forgot password'?», to which the player replied that registration only requires an email and password, whereas recovery requires remembering the email used. The casino provided evidence that the player's password had been reset earlier, and after review, the casino acknowledged that the player theoretically did not violate the rules, as he had not received bonuses, played against himself, or gained any advantage, and allowed him to continue playing subject to identity verification.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
