Mikhail Semin Dominates Fantasy Poker Drafts in 2017
The 2017 fantasy poker drafts have concluded, and Mikhail Semin has emerged as the standout winner. Semin secured an impressive 857 points, earning $6,750 in the process. His team, which included notable players like John Monnett, Benny Glazer, Max Pescatori, and Chris Vitch, demonstrated exceptional stability and performance.
Maicoshaa, a frequent winner of SCOOP and WCOOP, was Semin's partner and co-investor, contributing to the team's success. Despite some underperforming players like Dylan Linde and Allan Kessler, the team's overall performance was enough to secure the top spot.
In the junior league, Semin continued his dominance with an incredible 1118 points. This performance placed him in a competitive position, narrowly missing the top spot by a few points. Arts, the winner of the fantasy poker draft from GipsyTeam and King's Casino Rozvadov, also made a significant impact. Arts, from Riga, has been a regular MTT player for the last five years and follows WSOP events closely. He admires players like Igor Kurganov and Mustafa Kanit for their skills and personalities.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
