Michael Gagliano Chases Poker Immortality at WSOP Main Event Final Table
Michael Gagliano, 41, is one of two bracelet winners remaining in the 2026 World Series of Poker $10,000 no-limit hold’em main event. With four bracelets in no-limit hold’em, Gagliano's first win came in 2016 for $448,463. He is guaranteed at least $1 million for making the final table, which would more than double his current career earnings of $2,559,401.
Gagliano has been involved in coaching and instructing other poker players since 2009. His prior students include Joe McKeehen, who won the 2015 WSOP main event. Gagliano noted that he worked with McKeehen on a handful of sessions and hopes he helped him.
This year’s main event final table will be broadcast on ESPN2, with live coverage on ESPN+. The playdown to the final table was broadcast live on ESPN+, while edited-down TV episodes began airing on ESPN2 on July 21.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
