Martin Kabrhel Loses $2 Million in High-Stakes WSOP Cash Game
Martin Kabrhel, a Czech poker pro known for his non-stop table talk, lost $2 million in a high-stakes cash game during the World Series of Poker (WSOP). The game, hosted by Hustler Casino Live, featured blinds of $1,000-$2,000 with a $4,000 big blind ante and saw more than $6 million change hands.
Kabrhel, fresh from busting the $100,000 high roller event, had a notable performance. He won a $2.8 million pot, the second-largest in Hustler Casino Live history. He got it all in preflop with A-K against Alan Keating’s K-Q and won two-thirds of the runouts, banking just over $1.85 million. Despite these wins, Kabrhel ended up as the biggest loser of the session.
Eric Wasserson was the biggest winner of the night, finishing with a profit of $2.7 million. He won a big flip early with pocket queens against ‘Texas’ Mike Moncek’s A-K for $1.9 million. Other notable winners and losers included Alan Keating, who lost $1.8 million, Santhosh Suvarna, who gave back $1.15 million of his $1.92 million profit, and Peter Wang, who lost $950,000. Mike Moncek finished as a small winner with $100,000 profit, while Jack Lee pocketed $450,000. Andrew ‘Ace’ Pacheco and DoorDash founder Stanley Tang each won nearly $1.4 million.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
