Poker Player Marli Kordeiro Sues Mike Postle for $250,000
Marli Kordeiro has filed a personal lawsuit against Mike Postle, seeking $250,000 in damages. She is represented by Maurice Verstandig, who is also handling a class-action lawsuit against Postle. Maurice Verstandig sent a 23-page letter to the Nevada District Court outlining Kordeiro's claims against Postle.
Professional gamblers in Nevada can apply for unemployment benefits due to the CARES Act. Chris Convalinka, a Las Vegas regular, plans to apply for unemployment benefits.
Kordeiro's lawsuit is separate from the main case because she is registered in Las Vegas, while the primary case is being heard in California. The core allegations against Postle remain unchanged: he allegedly received information about players' hole cards from unknown accomplices on a phone he kept on his lap.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
