Linus Löwiger's $72,000 Poker Mistake Analyzed by Uri Peleg
In a recent video, Uri Peleg of Guerrilla Poker delves into a high-stakes poker hand played by Linus Löwiger on ACR. The hand, played under the username Borntotilt, involved a complex series of decisions and deep stacks, ultimately leading to a pot of nearly $72,000.
Linus Löwiger played against vesnapisarovic, who is believed to be Ivan 'ja.sam.gale' Galinec. The blinds were set at $100/$200, and vesnapisarovic raised to $500 from the button with a stack of $35,402. Linus, with a stack slightly more than 40k, called from the big blind.
On the flop, Linus checked, and vesnapisarovic bet the full pot. Linus then check-raised with a small sizing, indicating a strong hand. The turn brought a nine of hearts, adding 20 new possible combinations to the board. Linus bet 75% of the pot, aiming for value with straights and sets. On the river, Linus bet 75% of the pot again, and vesnapisarovic went all-in. Linus called and showed a set of fours, which Uri Peleg considered a mistake given the complex dynamics of the hand.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
