LCKY Group Completes Acquisition of RoyalCasino, Boosts Danish Presence
LCKY Group has finalized the acquisition of RoyalCasino, a significant move that enhances the group’s footprint in the Danish iGaming market. The acquisition, which was completed in August 2023, includes two additional brands, kapowcasino dot dk and valhallacasino dot dk.
RoyalCasino is one of the largest operators in Denmark, known for its innovation and strong market presence. LCKY Group expects the acquisition to boost group revenue by 18-20% and increase EBITDA by 29-31% on a pro-forma basis.
LCKY Group CEO Richard Brown highlighted the strategic importance of the acquisition, stating that it aligns with the group’s focus on regulated, sustainable growth. RoyalCasino CEO Per Petersen also expressed excitement about the deal, noting the potential for shared success between the two brands.
