Kazuki Ikeuchi Wins WSOP Online Event #5: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship
Kazuki Ikeuchi, known online as “Hyahhoo3,” has won WSOP Online Event #5: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship, earning $152,797. The event, played on WSOP.com, featured a prize pool of $768,000 created with 299 rebuys. Ikeuchi bested 554 opponents to claim his first WSOP gold bracelet.
This victory is Ikeuchi's 11th WSOP Online cash of the year, with three more coming in the previous fortnight at the Rio Convention Center. The Tokyo native now has 42 WSOP cashes to his name, of which 22 were earned online. He also came close to winning last month after finishing runner-up to Arnaud Enselme in the WSOP Online $500 No Limit Hold'em - The Closer, earning $270,127.
The runner-up was “dwilbs” who had a 2:1 chip advantage over second place when six-handed. However, Ikeuchi performed well when it mattered most, and “dwilbs” struggled with the constant dwindling of his stack. The championship hand saw “dwilbs” with pocket queens against 94, with no help from the poker gods, and it was all over. “dwilbs” finished with $94,460. Qinghai “011pokerdr” Pan finished third, earning $66,099.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
