Daniel 'Jungleman12' Kates Challenges Any Player to High-Stakes Match
Poker pro Daniel 'Jungleman12' Kates has issued a challenge to any player for a high-stakes heads-up match. The match will be held on December 6 in Prague, the day after the World Poker Tour tournament ends. The match will be streamed online with a 15-minute delay on Pokerfarm.com. The blinds will be set at €200/400, with a minimum buy-in of €100,000. Kates is inviting any player to accept his challenge, stating that he believes he is the best player in the world and wants to prove it.
In addition to the challenge, Kates is also conducting a three-day seminar in Vienna for regulars NL600-5k. The seminar will be held in one of Vienna's five-star hotels and will include trainers Daniel 'Jungleman12' Kates, Max 'AltiFC' Altergot, Johann 'J.Strassmann' Strassmann, and Fredrik 'Observer84/Fisheye1984' Keitel. The seminar will cost €5,500, including accommodation, meals, drinks, and free entry to a popular nightclub. Kates stated that the seminar will help participants improve their game against high-stakes regulars.
The seminar will cover topics such as optimal preflop play, common mistakes of high-stakes regulars, and effective use of HUD in heads-up games. Kates mentioned that the seminar will also include discussions on determining the weaknesses of high-stakes regulars and optimal strategies for 3-bet and 4-bet pots. The organizers have the right to select participants from the applicants, and Kates has already received interest from potential participants.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
