Juanma Pastor's WSOP 2012 Performance and Germany's Online Poker Ban
Poker pro Juanma Pastor made his mark at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2012 in Las Vegas. Juanma Pastor finished in 204th position in the Event #38 1.500$ No Limit. This was his first cash at the WSOP 2012, amounting to $3,079.
Meanwhile, in Germany, the landscape for online poker is about to change dramatically. Starting July 1, 2012, online poker and casino games will be illegal. This new treaty prohibits online poker, and German authorities must decide what to do with licenses already granted to companies like Betfair or bwin.party.
PokerStars pro Juanma Pastor is not the only notable player at the WSOP 2012. Other prominent figures include Leo Margets, Carlos Mortensen, Ana Márquez, CesarSPA, and 'El Toro Páez'.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
