Juan Pardo Wins GGMillion$ Main Event, Secures Historic Prize

In a stunning display of skill and strategy, Juan Pardo, a professor at MTT Project, secured the largest online poker prize in Spanish history by winning the GGMillion$ Main Event. The tournament, which attracted 886 participants, was one of the most prestigious online poker events of 2024.

Pardo's journey to victory was marked by a commanding performance. He entered the heads-up stage with a significant chip advantage of 8 to 1 over his opponent, Alexander Zubov. This lead proved insurmountable for Zubov, who, despite a valiant effort, could not overcome Pardo's dominance. The final hand saw Pardo's pocket queens hold up against Zubov's top pair, sealing his victory and the historic prize of $1,421,680.

Pardo's win is not only a personal triumph but also a milestone for Spanish poker. His achievement sets a new benchmark for online poker winnings in the country, cementing his status as one of the top players in the scene.
