Jean Vicente and His Students Shine in Champions League Tournament
Jean Vicente, a prominent figure in the poker community, recently led four of his students to impressive in-the-money (ITM) finishes in the Champions League 2ª Edição 30k tournament held at the Casanova Poker Lounge in Brasília. This achievement highlights both his coaching prowess and the dedication of his students.
Jean Vicente, who is the owner of Pro Evolution and the Official Coach of the Ladies, a group of female poker players, has been instrumental in their development. The tournament, which had a field of 247 entrants, saw four of his students—Fernanda Cardoso, Tássia Kalliny, Régia Cavalcanti, and Daiana Paula—finishing ITM. This is a remarkable feat, especially considering the competitive nature of the field.
Jean Vicente expressed his pride and satisfaction in supporting the growth and trajectory of his female students. He stated, “Ladies is my second team. I have great pleasure in contributing to their growth and trajectory. I love to see them rising. Participating in this is really very rewarding for me and for my work.” The students themselves praised Jean Vicente for his dedication, support, and expertise as a coach. Fernanda Cardoso, one of the students, said, “The Ladies could not have a better Coach. Dedicated and centered, a true Master.”

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
