Alleged Cheat Jake Schindler Leads WSOP Player of the Year Race
Jake Schindler, an alleged poker cheat, is currently leading the WSOP Player of the Year race with 1,842 points. Schindler has more than $2.2 million in cashes at this year’s World Series of Poker. He was named in a mass outing of alleged high-stakes cheats, accused of using RTA (Real-Time Assistance).
Schindler won event 12, the $50k version of the 8-handed event, his first bracelet win. He refused to give an interview afterwards, clearly concerned that the recent cheating allegations would come up. His close friends, Ali Imsirovic and Bryn Kenney, are also accused of cheating.
David Peters is in second place with 1,782 points, and Chad Eveslage is in third with 1,592 points. Previous winners of the WSOP Player of the Year title include Shaun Deeb, Daniel Negreanu, and Josh Arieh. Martin Zamani accused David Miscikowski of cheating and nicknamed him David “Cocksucker” Miscikowski.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
