High Stakes Poker Season 6 Finale: Lex Feldhus's Epic Call and Tom Dwan's Big Win
The final episode of the 6th season of High Stakes Poker was marked by several notable moments and significant wins. Lex Feldhus replaced Mike Matuza and immediately proposed raising the stakes to $500/$1000 ante $300, which everyone agreed to.
One of the standout moments of the episode was Lex Feldhus's significant call against Doyle Brunson. Normally, when tight player Doyle Brunson bets $60,000 on the river with a pair of twos, it's wise to fold. However, Lex Feldhus decided otherwise and won a large pot, ending Brunson's winning streak on the show.
Tom Dwan made a heroic start to the session but lost a significant pot to Daniel Negreanu. Later, Dwan won a big pot against Eli Elezra. Phil Galfond folded a full house against Eli Elezra, who had pocket queens. The episode concluded with Tom Dwan ending the season with the largest win, breaking an ice sculpture at the end of the episode.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
