Among the international players, Fake Love888, Phil 'MrSweets28' Galfond, and Eugene 'oogee' Yanaite were notable participants. Mattew 'Hoss_TBF' Gavrilenko made a significant return, playing a heads-up match against oogee in $1,000/2,000 2-7 Triple Draw. Initially, oogee lost but managed to lead by about $100,000 by the end of the session.

Li 'Enon' Goldman, a specialist in 2-7 Triple Draw, mentioned that oogee is one of the strongest players in this game. Goldman also stated that he does not play $1k/2k 2-7 Triple Draw on PokerStars due to financial constraints and the stressful nature of the game. Despite his skills, oogee faced significant losses, including a $320,000 loss to Mattew 'Hoss_TBF' Gavrilenko. Fake Love888, suspected to be Patrick Antonius, had a notable loss in big-bet games, losing $363,890 over 6,214 hands.
