Doug Polk and Friends Play High-Stakes Poker at Triton Series
The second cash game session of the Triton series in London had the same blinds as the first session: $1,000/$2,000/$2,000. Doug Polk received a full payment on the preflop with aces and won the hand. Paul Phua once played a 52-hour poker session in Macau and left without taking his chips.
Tang Shuan wanted to add more chips to his stack to cover all players at the table. Brin Kenney called with 9-high and lost the hand. Elton Tsang won a big pot without showing his cards. Doug Polk folded a hand with queens against Brin Kenney's trips.
Santo Suvarna won a hand against Tang Shuan with a 3-bet and a push on the turn. Tang Shuan won the largest pot of the session with a 3-barrel bet and check-calls from Brin Kenney. Karl Shaappe-Gaathen requested a famous single malt whiskey, Macallan, during the game.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
