High-Stakes Poker: Bloom's Losses and Haxton's GTO Bot Denial
Victor Bloom, who won around $3,000,000 by early September, faced significant losses in high-stakes games. On September 5, he lost $124,570 to Steven 'Zugwat' Silverman in 2-7 Triple Draw and $368,390 to Isaac Haxton in PLO.
Isaac Haxton, who won $304.2k against Victor Bloom, denied using a GTO bot and stated he only uses a HUD for PT4. Daniel Cates confirmed that Isaac Haxton does not use a GTO bot.
Phil Ivey also made notable performances, winning $58k in PLO and $255k the next day. He lost $100k in big bet games but won $200k in FLO8. His total profit for the first week of September was $632k. Douglas Polk won $106k against Luke Schwartz and $65.7k in another session. Jens Kilonen won $260.6k in PLO games.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
