Haynes King: From Undrafted Free Agent to NFL Prospect
Haynes King, born on January 9, 2001, in Longview, Texas, has had an impressive college football career. After being undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, he signed with the Carolina Panthers and is now making waves in the NFL.
King started his college football career at Texas A&M University in 2020. However, his sophomore season was cut short due to a season-ending leg injury in 2021. Despite this setback, King transferred to Georgia Tech in 2023 and had a remarkable first season, playing in 13 games and starting 13, throwing for 2,842 yards and recording 27 touchdowns.
King's college football career spanned 46 games, starting 43, with 802 completions out of 1,223 passes for 9,486 yards and 65 touchdowns. His performance ultimately helped him establish himself as one of the most productive dual-threat quarterbacks. After his college career, King participated in the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, contributing to the Panthers' win against the Arizona Cardinals.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
