Hawaii Police Bust Illegal Gambling Den, Seize Cash and Machines
The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) conducted an operation against illegal gambling at a venue on Old Fort Weaver Road in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Police seized nearly $3,000 in cash and 15 gambling machines from the illegal gambling room.
A 44-year-old male suspect was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement in the illegal gambling operation. The suspect was arrested on two charges: Possession of a Gambling Device and Promoting Gambling in the Second Degree.
If convicted on both charges, the 44-year-old man may face jail time, fines and probation. The HPD encouraged anyone aware of illegal gambling activities to report those via the Narcotics/Vice Division’s hotline or file a report online.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
