Hard Rock Wins Land-Based Operator of the Year Award
Hard Rock International has been recognized as the Land-Based Operator of the Year by the Global Gaming Awards Americas. This is the third time the company has received this prestigious award, highlighting its dedication to land-based casino gambling and outstanding performance over the past year.
In addition to the Land-Based Operator of the Year award, Hard Rock International was also a runner-up in two categories: Property of the Year for Hard Rock Casino Tejon and Responsible Business of the Year. The Property of the Year award recognizes the success of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tejon, which opened its doors in November 2025 in Kern County, California. Mike Bean, an executive with over 30 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality industry, was recently appointed as the Property President at Hard Rock Casino Tejon.
The Responsible Business of the Year award acknowledges Hard Rock International's commitment to responsible gambling and social impact work. The company's ongoing progress includes the development of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Athens, a landmark integrated resort in one of Europe's most popular cities. Additionally, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, located on the Las Vegas Strip, and Hard Rock at Metropolitan Park, a project in Queens, New York, in collaboration with Steve Cohen, are among the company's upcoming ventures. Jeff Hook, HRI’s Chief Operating Officer, expressed excitement about the award, stating that it demonstrates how Hard Rock has built an unmatched gaming experience rooted in 55 years of music heritage.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
